elmwood garden

After years in a downtown loft, the garden space was the draw for this house which had a distinctly different style than what was imagined, but sat on a double lot.  In rather rough shape, but sitting on a double lot, the landscaping was top of list.  The bluestone and grass patio was first, with its custom designed table.  The rest of the garden elements—a rose garden, hedges, trees, stairs, walls, driveway, and an herbaceous border—followed as restoration projects continued and modern conveniences were added to the house.
